About Our Founder

Scott Vold, CEO

Scott Vold is a seasoned entrepreneur, operator, and investor who brings founder's instinct and proven executive leadership to growing businesses. As founding CEO, he built and scaled a healthcare technology company from its inception as an idea sketched on a legal pad through its acquisition by Cerner Corporation (now Oracle). Following the acquisition, Scott joined Cerner's executive leadership team, where he led the integration and expansion of his company's technology across Cerner's enterprise platform. After Cerner, Scott served as the Chief Commercial Officer of a private equity-backed services company where he helped drive significant revenue and EBITDA growth while professionalizing the business's commercial and growth operations, among other things.

Throughout his career, Scott has demonstrated exceptional leadership ability, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution to build strong, sustainable businesses. He has created dynamic, high-performing company cultures that attract and retain top talent while driving innovation and growth. His leadership style emphasizes both accountability and empowerment, fostering environments where teams can excel and individuals can reach their full potential.

Scott has developed unique expertise in scaling businesses through sophisticated go-to-market strategy and execution. He has consistently demonstrated the ability to build and lead high-performing teams while developing scalable processes that drive rapid, sustainable growth.

Before his entrepreneurial journey, Scott practiced law at leading firms, representing Fortune 500 companies in complex business matters. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law and earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois.

Scott now leads Lafitte & Co., partnering with business owners to help write their companies' next chapters.
